SnapFrom is a free online tool that saves public videos from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest and Snapchat. You give it a link, and it shows you the files that platform has for that post.
Each file comes with its quality and approximate size, so you know what you're getting before you save it. On TikTok, you can often keep just the sound as well.
It's made for everyday things, like watching a clip offline or keeping a copy of your own posts.
SnapFrom features
What you get each time you paste a link.
Real quality choices
We list the sizes the platform stores, like 1080p, 720p or 360p, each with its file size.
All devices
Works on iPhone, Android, tablets, Windows and Mac. No app to install.
Browser only
Everything happens on this page, in the browser you already use.
Free to use
No account, no sign-up and no payment to save a video.
Sound only
Keep just the audio when TikTok offers it as a separate file.
Nothing kept
Our temporary copy is deleted as soon as the file reaches you.
Three steps. About ten seconds.
Works the same on a phone or a computer. Nothing to install.
Copy the link
In the app, tap Share, then Copy link.
Paste it here
We read the files the platform really has.
Pick and keep
Choose a size. It goes to your downloads.
Save videos without an app
Many downloaders want you to install an app or extension. SnapFrom works in your browser instead.
- iPhone and iPad: open SnapFrom in Safari, paste the link and tap Save. The file goes to the Files app, under Downloads. To move it to Photos, open it, tap Share, then Save Video.
- Android: use Chrome or any browser. The file goes to your Download folder, and your gallery shows it shortly after.
- Computer: any modern browser on Windows or Mac works. The file goes to your downloads folder.
Tip: add SnapFrom to your home screen from the browser's share menu. It then opens like an app, without installing one.
Which video links can I paste?
Copy the link from the app's Share button. These are the link types SnapFrom reads:
instagram.com/reel/…instagram.com/p/…tiktok.com/@user/video/…vm.tiktok.com/…x.com/user/status/…twitter.com/user/status/…facebook.com/share/…fb.watch/…pinterest.com/pin/…pin.it/…snapchat.com/@user/spotlight/…snapchat.com/spotlight/…What works, what doesn't.

Is SnapFrom free?
Yes. There's no account, no app and no payment.
Which links work?
Links to public posts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest and Snapchat. Use the Share button in the app and choose Copy link.
Why won't a private video work?
We can only read videos anyone can watch without logging in. We never ask for your password, so private posts can't be saved.
Which quality will I get?
The sizes the platform stores for that video. Each one shows its quality and approximate size, so you can choose.
Can I save only the sound?
On TikTok, often yes. When TikTok has a separate audio file, you'll see "Audio" in the list. Other sites usually don't offer one.
Where does the saved file go?
Your downloads folder. On iPhone that's the Files app; tap Share, then Save Video to add it to Photos.
Do you keep my videos or links?
No. The temporary copy is deleted once it's sent, and the link is removed within 30 minutes.
Why did my download fail?
The post may be private, deleted or need a login. If the Save button stopped working, it has expired after 30 minutes, so paste the link again.
Got a link? Keep it in seconds.
Paste it at the top of the page and see the real files.
