Our website follows the safe harbor rules of 17 U.S.C. 512, also known as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). To let us know about a copyright violation, you will need to send us a letter that has most of the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person who is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that was allegedly violated.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work that is said to have been violated, or, if more than one copyrighted work is covered by a single notification, a list of the works at that site that are covered by that notification. The best way to help us find the content quickly is to put YouTube URLs in the body of an email.
  • Information that is likely to be enough for the service provider to get in touch with the person who is complaining, such as an address, phone number, and, if available, an email address where the person can be reached.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the copyright owner, its agent, or the law does not allow the material to be used in the way that the complaining party says it is being used.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is correct and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly being infringed. (Note that under Section 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages. In other words, DON’T LYE!

Then send the infringement notice via email to [email protected]
